The Three Valleys

The Three Valleys include the resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

The Three Valleys, or Les Trois Vallées is without doubt the largest and finest linked ski area in the world. It is located in the Savoie department in the Northern Alps. It has more than 600 km (410 miles) of ski slopes, and additionally there are 120 km for cross-country skiing. The area is served by around 200 ski lifts, and the electronic lift pass system that covers the whole area, eliminates a lot of queuing and time waste.

The Three Valleys includes the resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
Courchevel is France’s most exclusive resort; it has miles of wonderful cruising runs and beautiful pistes through the trees to Le Praz and La Tania. There are more than 70 restaurants in the area, some of them with Michelin star chefs. 

La Tania
 is located half way between Courchevel and Méribel, right in the center of the Three Valleys. The resort is at an altitude of 1,400 meters and lies in the heart of a magnificent forest. La Tania has 150 kilometers of pisted ski runs, with runs for the beginners as well as the experienced skier.

is one of the oldest ski resorts in the Alps, it has been a popular resort for over 70 years. Méribel embodies the charm of an alpine village, with its wooden and stone chalets, scattered around the mountain. In Méribel, try the Ladies Olympic Downhill, or the runs from the top of Saulire all the way down to Méribel, a vertical drop of 1,300 meters. Snowboarding is very popular in Méribel and it is well catered for in the valley, with boarder parks and huge amounts of off piste.
St Martin de Belleville is situated at an altitude of 1,450 meters. Saint Martin is a real village ski resort, with charming hotels, comfortable chalets or even bed & breakfast with a local.

At an altitude of 1,850 meters, Les Menuires is a paradise for skiers and those looking for excitement. Unforgettable descents on pistes suitable for all levels and areas specially developed for children and beginners. The Les Menuires / Saint Martin ski area offers an incredible huge liberty for leisure and skiing.

At an altitude of 2,300 meters, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. It is set at the heart of a spectacular bowl overlooked by 6 glaciers. More than 99% of the ski area is located above 2,000 meters, and there are breathtaking views over the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.
